Reports/measurements produced by our algorithms (e.g., ratios, angles, qualitative assessments).
Important: Depending on your location (e.g., Illinois, Texas, Washington), elements of the above may be considered biometric identifiers or biometric information. See Section 6 (Biometric Notice & Consent) for details on how we handle this data, your choices, and our retention/deletion schedule.
Billing address; transaction details (product purchased, amount, timestamps).
We do not store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our PCI-compliant processors (e.g., Stripe/Apple/Google). They may receive and process your card data under their own privacy policies.
We process your information to:
Provide and operate the Services (account creation, log-in, face analysis, morph generation, Glow-Up Protocol delivery, cloud processing, troubleshooting).
Process transactions and send receipts, confirmations, and subscription notices.
Communicate with you (service announcements, security alerts, support).
Personalize features and recommendations (e.g., saving preferences, recent projects).
Maintain safety, security, and integrity (fraud prevention, abuse monitoring, debugging).
Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
Research & product improvement. We may use aggregated and/or de-identified data to improve algorithms, quality, and user experience.
We do not use your identifiable images in public marketing without your separate consent.
We do not sell biometric identifiers.
Legal bases (EEA/UK only). Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, our processing is based on: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (e.g., service security, improvement), consent (for biometrics/certain cookies/marketing), and legal obligations.
We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to operate the Site, remember preferences, measure performance, and detect abuse. You can manage cookies via your browser settings. Some features may not function without certain cookies. For more details, see our Cookie notices if provided.
We may share information with:
Service providers & processors (cloud hosting, image processing, analytics, customer support, communications, payment processing, security). They may only process data per our instructions.
Affiliates (if any) under this Policy.
Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets).
Legal & safety (to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, privacy, safety, or property of you, us, or others).
With your direction or consent.
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not “share” biometric identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We collect and process facial images and face geometry/embeddings solely to:
perform facial analysis,
generate AI morph visualizations you request, and
deliver the Glow-Up Protocol experience.
Where required by law (e.g., Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, Washington biometrics law), we will obtain your written or electronic consent before collecting or processing biometric identifiers/information. By uploading your images and affirmatively proceeding, you provide such consent for the stated purposes.
We do not sell biometric identifiers or information. We disclose them only to service providers assisting us in providing the Services (e.g., secure processing/inference), or as required by law.
We retain biometric identifiers/information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the specific purpose for which they were collected, and in no event longer than three (3) years after your last interaction with the Services, whichever occurs first, unless a longer period is legally required or permitted.
If you do not choose to save a project to your account, we endeavor to delete raw uploads within 30 days.
You may request deletion sooner (see Section 9).
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect biometric data against unauthorized disclosure or acquisition (see Section 8).
Account controls. You can update certain profile details from your account settings.
Marketing emails. Opt out via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.
Project storage. You may choose whether to save projects to your account. Not saving limits retention of raw uploads (see 6d).
Analytics/cookies. Manage via browser/device settings and, where offered, our cookie banner.
We employ measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege practices. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Access your personal information and obtain a copy.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete personal information (subject to legal exceptions).
Port data to another service.
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Withdraw consent (for processing based on consent, e.g., biometrics/marketing).
Appeal our response (for certain U.S. state laws).
Opt-out of “sale”/“sharing” and targeted advertising (where applicable). We do not sell biometric data.
To exercise rights, email alexander@parallellabs.co with “Privacy Request” in the subject and specify your request and jurisdiction. We may verify your identity and request additional information. You may authorize an agent where permitted by law.
California (CPRA) Notice. California residents have the rights listed above and the right to limit use of sensitive personal information to certain purposes. We use sensitive data (e.g., biometrics) only to provide the Services, ensure security/integrity, and comply with law—not for advertising. We do not “sell” personal information as defined by CPRA, nor “share” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
EEA/UK Supervisory Authority. If GDPR/UK GDPR applies, you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
We are based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your data will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and possibly other countries where our providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. See Section 6(d) for biometric-specific retention and destruction.
The Services may link to third-party sites or services. Their privacy practices are governed by their policies, not this one. Review their terms before engaging.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page and, where required, we will seek additional consent (e.g., for biometrics) or provide notice.
